Pickled Radish

I'm longing for a little taste of the freshness of spring.  I had a bag of lingering radishes in my refrigerator, and I decided to make some pickled radishes.   I used this recipe.

I added 3 garlic cloves, 3/4 teaspoon of mustard seed, and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to my pickles.

  1. They look pretty. Nothing says Spring garden like radishes.

    1. I hadn't thought about adding them to salad. I've just been munching. They're quite tasty.

  3. I made a jar of pickled radishes in February. I just finished them yesterday. Its a great way to "keep" them a little longer. I need to buy more and pickle them also.

    1. I'd never had them before, but they're good enough I'll be making them again.

Due to a large volume of spamming I’ve had to undo the “anyone” can comment feature. Hoping this lets all of us not have to wade through the hoopla.
