They run those products 50% off once every 3 to 4 weeks. Be careful of the WM thread unless it is Coats. The generic thread there tends to break.
KSnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1475550872815305644.post-14659354255015774072017-03-07T17:30:59.894-08:002017-03-07T17:30:59.894-08:00I love her blog. But she orders a certain time of year, I think around the time of Black Friday.

I will say, if you live in an area with 'community' boards on Facebook, you might mention that you're looking for green thread. There is a freecycle board in my community and I posted once for thread and had people offer me a lot. I restocked mine and donated the rest to a charity quilting group. Hope this helps!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00870276361208084297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1475550872815305644.post-81555873377369902832017-03-04T07:13:49.491-08:002017-03-04T07:13:49.491-08:00I will check and see if I can use the coupons onli...I will check and see if I can use the coupons online. I can also see if my mama wants to go in on an order. Thanks for the idea.

The Walmart near here does have a small section, but it is really scaled down. I'll check next time I'm in there. In the last year our Joanne's and Hancock Fabrics both closed. We do have a new Hobby Lobby. I'll check and see if they have big spools. That said, there are times when I run out of a frequently used thread color and don't have any in my use it up bins. I find that if I wait until Joanne's has a 50% off coupon and I buy a larger spool, I make out OK. I tend to buy Coats and Clark or Guterman's. A neutral grey would have worked here, even if only using it for the bobbin, keeping the emptying out top spool in green-a trick I have used. Beige would do the same. I find white can* work, depending upon how dark the color of the fabric(s) are. HTHCTMOMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04825780992878036362noreply@blogger.com
