I would love to have my mom make my clothes now and a lot of the things she did when we were growing up.

1920's -- exactly. That's vintage! :-)Sharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08766692049927299389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1475550872815305644.post-82644684459033173392016-04-24T07:35:40.710-07:002016-04-24T07:35:40.710-07:00They are slick...lol. Fortunately our stairs are carpeted, even if the downstairs flooring is not.Sharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08766692049927299389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1475550872815305644.post-53328180249559788832016-04-22T16:57:21.324-07:002016-04-22T16:57:21.324-07:00My grandma used to make us slippers like those whe...My grandma used to make us slippers like those when we were little. I don't know how to knit well enough to make any, but I liked them as a child. Ours were always slick, so we would slide around on hard floors in them--fun!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1475550872815305644.post-13005260263011435262016-04-22T15:16:46.617-07:002016-04-22T15:16:46.617-07:00These are definitely not vintage :) I know what yo...These are definitely not vintage :) I know what you mean. I always thought the vintage stuff is like from 1920s or so.
Growing up I never wore other slippers than the ones my mom would make and they looked pretty much (or very close) to the ones you are making. I didn't like them then (not cool enough) but LOVE them now. Just a bit of growing up ;)

Marianahttp://www.simpleisgoodforyou.comnoreply@blogger.com
