Frugal Happenings for the Last Week of February

Maybe I should entitle this true confessions....lol

1.  I used the dryer one day.  Yeah, I know.  It's been that kind of week.
2.  We ate whatever I could pull together.  We didn't go out and pick anything up though.
3.  I went to Michaels, but I did use coupons to get the best price on what I was after.
4.  I ordered a couple of summer dresses from ThredUp.  (very pleased by the way)

None of that was particularly frugal, but I had some positives come out of this week.

1.  I made an A in both my classes. (98 in one and what I think will be around a 97 in the other)
2.  I picked back up my hand projects.
3.  I had guests over for the first time in a while.
4.  I tried a new to me sauce for a recipe.
5.  I took advantage of some sale prices on my Sam's Club order.
6.  I made friends with a possum.....

and no number 6 wasn't just to see if you were still reading.  I really have.  He comes up to my patio to eat.  He doesn't run when I talk to him or anything.  Just kind of sits there and happily munches.

  1. Kudos for the grades - that's awesome with all you are already juggling!
Love the possum thing - We feed squirrels off our back deck. About two years ago, my oldest daughter and I were watching tv in the room off the deck when the outside light was tripped on....by FOUR baby raccoons and their mama! I guess we were feeding them without knowing it too! LOL The babies were so adorable and curious - my daughter wanted to open the door to let them in but that wasn't going to happen! LOL They hung around for about one month or so and then they were on their way.

    1. LOL. They are such unique creatures.

Thanks. I’m glad to see the courses end even if I do feel like I learned some things.

    1. Thanks!

Send them....my husband refers to the critters as my menagerie.

  4. Congratulations on finishing those classes. I'll bet you are super happy to have a bit of a break. It's always nice to have guests. I'm glad you could enjoy them:). My last time of inviting guests ended up badly--we got sick and none of them would come. I don't blame them, but I missed them.

    1. Thanks. I remember you saying everyone was sick. I'm really hoping most of the creepy crawly germs are almost over for my area and spring was here, but then we popped back down to low temps again so who knows.

Due to a large volume of spamming I’ve had to undo the “anyone” can comment feature. Hoping this lets all of us not have to wade through the hoopla.
