Oh my gosh, that is beautiful, Shara.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It's a pretty easy pattern with just a repetition of two rows, but it looks impressive when it is finished.
DeleteWhat is a temperature blanket
ReplyDeleteThe basic idea behind it is that you take the high temperature for your area every day and use a corresponding color. (I found a chart on Pinterest that I am using.) Then each day you work one row on your blanket. At the end of the year you have a blanket that represents a range of all the temperatures for the year. I'm splitting mine into two and making afghan sized blankets. Doing one with 365 rows would have made a bed sized blanket and I think I will get more use out of two afghans. LOL If you would like more information let me know and I'll be glad to share links to what I am using. (Some people opt to do a scarf instead if they don't want to make a blanket.)
