Menu Planning for February

I feel like the menu planning is going well enough — well the sticking to it is going well enough — that it will pay for me to go ahead and plan February.  Using the freezer inventory as a list, I’ve planned out the month.  As usual, I just planned out suppers.  Breakfasts are varied.  (I have oats, grits, etc. And when it comes time to shop I’ll pick up any additional we need.). We will probably have leftovers for most lunches.  


I’ve also begun my grocery list based on what I know we will need right now. 
I’ll continue to add to it as we use things down or if things change for some other reason.
I also haven’t listed convenience foods for my daughter because I’ll seek her input on that.
There is one day that I have labeled as “eat out,”. As the calendar stands now I will be attending a function with my husband.  If that changes, I’ll just adjust.

  1. That menu plan looks so great in that notebook, with the red pen! I waffle back and forth with planning out meals, but it always benefits me when I do it. Maybe I'll get busy and plan some out with all this inspiration in front of me:)

    1. Thanks. I’m a paper/pencil kind of person. I tend to remember things much better if I write them down, even if I never refer back to the paper.
